We are proud to announce the launch of the Mimo Movement Monitor, the newest member of our Mimo Smart Nursery collection. Over the last two years, we’ve loved working with parents on the Mimo Smart Baby Monitor to deliver incredibly deep levels of information to wherever they are: real-time breathing, body position, activity level, and wake//sleep analysis. This has never happened before with any other consumer product, and we are so proud of what we’ve been able to deliver.
Over the course of working with parents, we saw that there was a need for a product better suited to a baby’s unpredictability. One that would work even if the baby just spit up and needed their diaper changed, or if they just...fell asleep (hallelujah for when that happens!). In response, we created the Mimo Smart Baby Movement Monitor, which is a smart sheet for the crib.
Since it’s not a kimono or bodysuit, the Movement Monitor doesn’t get the same level of detail; rather than body position and real-time respiration (read about how our sensors work again here), we can show movement and activity. It’s still the same smart system, though, and parents can see all their baby’s movement, activity, and wake/sleep information right on their iOS or Android devices. The Movement Monitor app also integrates with our Works With Nest system if you have a Nest Cam). The sheet is also washable just like any other Mimo product: chuck it in the wash and dry on low heat. And, to top it off, you can use the same Turtle between the sheet and the kimono and bodysuits--just be sure to go to settings and let the app know which one you’re using, as the algorithms differ.
