After much excitement and anticipation on our end, the ABC Kids Expo in Las Vegas, NV finally arrived. This past week (Sept 6 - 10th) a number of us from Rest Devices went to meet with retailers, media partners, bloggers, and parents visiting from around the globe. It took members of our team about 18 hours to make our booth, but it was worth it. We had a number of people stop by to see what Mimo is all about and received a number of compliments on our booths warm environment.
While this was our third time at the ABC Kids Expo, it was the first time we had product in market. Not only were we able show the Mimo Baby Monitor in person, we were also able to share with attendees a prototype of what we're looking to create next [hint it will warm a bottle].
But it was the people that made the show. From the folks interested in learning more about baby products to people at manning other booths, the people at the show were energetic and passionate.
Over the course of our 4 days in Vegas, we truly enjoyed spending time with our friends at Think Baby and Kiinde.
While we enjoyed our time with everyone we met at the show, earning a "This doesn't suck" card from Jamie Grayson might have been the highlight of the show for us. Well, that and having Jamie dress up in a giant baby onsie on the last day of the show.
Though a man in a baby onesie photo would have been a great final picture for our ABC Kids 2014 photo album, we couldn't resist the urge to take one last team photo.
All in all we truly had an amazing (and exhausting time) at ABC Kids. We hope to see you there next year!
